How quickly things change. I left the internet cafe this morning and the sun was shining again. I went to a market nearby to get some essentials and I got a call from Maria our translater saying that Oleg was on his way back to Sumy and to be ready to leave in an hour to go back to the SDA in Kyiv for our interview concerning Dima. I had to rush back to the Apartment to tell Griselda we had to quickly pack our bags. Because the sun came back out again we had a gorgeous ride to Kyiv. It was night time when we went to Sumy so we could not see what the countryside was like. The farms were beautiful. Oleg informed us that it was not for sure but he thought we could have our interview today and if not tommorrow morning. Either way we had to leave today. We did have our appointment at 5 pm. Initially when we went in they were going to cancel our appointment because Oleg did not have the oringinal copy of our Dossier. Oleg made a phone call with the top person in the SDA and gave permission to go ahead and have our interview but they had to have the originals tomorrow in order to recieve the permission letter. It seems kind of crazy because the SDA has a copy of the Dossier which would not give them anymore information than the original. Maria is going to have it shipped overnight to Oleg. If all goes well we have to go back tommorrow at 4 pm for our permission letter to adopt Dima. We are with the Leavitts again and they have been so gracious with us.
